Medicine & Dentistry Parents’ Evening (7 May 2026)
As a parent of a child interested in applying to medicine or dentistry, you may find yourself lost in all of the admissions exams, work experience needed, different requirements from each university, the early UCAS deadline, and every other part of the application process. It can definitely be a minefield, and it can be difficult to support your child without having all of the necessary information about how the application process works and what they need to be doing at each stage of the application to maximise their chances of success.
At MedicHut, we host an annual Parents’ Evening to educate parents of children applying to medicine and dentistry. We’ll cover the following topics:
- Application timeline
- Entrance exams: UCAT
- Personal statement and UCAS
- Work experience
- Interviews – MMI, group, Oxbridge
- A-levels and GCSEs needed
- Application statistics
- How you can support your child
- Q&A session with admissions experts
Thursday, 7th May, 19:00 – 21:00
