1 to 1 St Andrews medicine mock interview in the MMI circuit format St Andrews uses. Recorded session, written feedback, from £69. Book within 48 hours.
What format is the St Andrews medicine interview?
St Andrews runs an MMI circuit and takes a deliberately different approach to scoring. The school says your application is not scored and no weighting is applied to specific parts, so it works as a series of hurdles rather than a points total, which means one very weak area can end an otherwise strong application. Stations cover motivation, ethics, data and role play, communication and reflection. UCAT is required for all medicine routes and St Andrews publishes an adjusted admissions table now that the top score is 2,700, with SJT Band 4 rejected. Interviews run December to March. The answer that decides most St Andrews interviews is why a three year pre clinical course followed by a move to a partner medical school suits you.
