Chester is one of the smallest MBChB programmes in the region, with a strong North Wales placement footprint. Edge Hill is similarly small but Ormskirk-based; Liverpool is a large, research-intensive traditional course; Lancaster is small and problem-based-learning driven. If you want a small cohort with early clinical exposure across Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales, Chester is a strong fit.
