Swansea medicine interview format

Swansea runs a face to face assessment day of three stations, each lasting 20 or 30 minutes. Stations can take the form of an interview, a presentation or a role play, and you may be asked about your personal statement. Panels include clinicians, academics, medical students and members of the public. The same format applies to the standard entry and graduate entry courses. What GAMSAT score do I need for Swansea 2027 entry?

Swansea ranks applicants by GAMSAT overall score. Recent-cycle guidance suggests an effective cut-off of around 60-66 overall with no section below 50. Cut-offs are set year on year based on the applicant pool.

Does Swansea Medical School use the UCAT?

No - Swansea does not use the UCAT. Applicants must sit the GAMSAT (Graduate Medical School Admissions Test) instead.

Do I need a specific degree subject to apply to Swansea?
