What format is the Warwick medicine interview?

Warwick runs a Selection Centre built as an MMI circuit, in person at Gibbet Hill, with a separate MMI date for international applicants who cannot attend, and online interviews only where you meet Warwick's published online interview criteria. For 2027 entry Warwick publishes a last UCAT testing date of 24 September 2026, in person MMIs on 15 to 18 December 2026 and an international MMI on 13 January 2027. Selection runs on two gates: Gate 1 is a hard Verbal Reasoning threshold at or above the national mean of all test takers that year, 600 in the last published cycle, and only then does Gate 2 combine total UCAT with academics. Care leavers and refugees receive a 20 point Verbal Reasoning reduction and a 60 point total score uplift. Warwick also requires at least 70 hours of health or social care experience and does not run clearing.

How Warwick selects for interview

Graduate-entry only (A101) with a two-gate system: Gate 1 is a Verbal Reasoning-only threshold (at or above the national VR mean - 600 in 2025/26), then Gate 2 combines total UCAT with academics. At least 70 hours of health or social care work experience is also required.

2026 entry: lowest UCAT invited 1910/2700, mean invited 2080/2700, highest invited 2610/2700. Gate 1 requires a Verbal Reasoning score at or above the national mean (600 in 2025/26).
