1 to 1 Queen's Belfast medicine mock interview in the MMI circuit format Queen's Belfast uses. Recorded session, written feedback, from £69. Book within 48 hours.
Queen's Belfast runs an MMI: nine assessed stations in person in Belfast for home candidates, sitting inside a circuit of 12 positions overall with three rest stations, and seven assessed stations online for international candidates, with one minute of reading and five minutes per station and two stations involving role players. Queen's says interviews are held from mid December to March. Its latest published policy is for 2026 entry, and Queen's says the document is updated in summer 2026 for 2027 applicants, so treat these figures as the most recent official ones rather than confirmed 2027 rules. Pre-interview ranking is an academic score out of 36 plus a UCAT decile score out of 9, giving 45 points, with the SJT used only as a tie-breaker for borderline applicants. Published interview thresholds have ranged from 30 to 38 points across past cycles and cannot be predicted in advance. Expect stations on values, communication, ethics and motivation, plus awareness of healthcare in Northern Ireland.
UCAT contributes 0-9 points by decile (≤10th=0 up to >90th=9), added to a GCSE score out of 36. For 2025 entry the interview threshold was ≥30 combined points, so strong GCSEs can offset a lower UCAT decile.
UCAT is converted to 0-9 points by decile and added to GCSE points (max 36); 2025 entry interview threshold was ≥30 total points. A lower UCAT can be offset by very strong GCSEs.
Typical academic offer: A*AA incl. Chemistry and Biology (also need one of Maths/Physics if only one of Chemistry/Biology taken) (2027 entry data).
The session reproduces the mmi circuit Queen's University Belfast School of Medicine uses, so the pacing, pressure and thinking being tested match the real day.
Single mock £69, with bundles of 3 and 5 available. See all mock interviews, the 2 day live interview course and MMI circuits.
