1 to 1 Brunel medicine mock interview in the MMI circuit format Brunel uses. Recorded session, written feedback, from £69. Book within 48 hours.
What format is the Brunel medicine interview?
Brunel runs a fully online, asynchronous virtual MMI, which is unlike almost every other UK medical school. There are six stations of seven minutes each, two minutes to read the scenario and five minutes to record your answer, so about 40 minutes of assessed content in total, and you complete the stations in your own time inside a window of several days. Each station is aligned to an attribute from Good Medical Practice and one assessor reviews your whole interview. There is no live interviewer, no reaction to read and no chance to recover in conversation, which is why recorded practice matters here more than anywhere else. Applicants with SJT Band 4 are rejected, and the rest are ranked on UCAT total, or GAMSAT for graduate applicants, with no published threshold.
How Brunel selects for interview
SJT Band 4 is auto-rejected. Remaining applicants meeting the academic bar are ranked on UCAT (or GAMSAT for graduates).
Brunel publishes no UCAT threshold and has refused FOI requests for historical cut-offs. Ranking is purely relative to the applicant pool.
Typical academic offer: AAA incl. Chemistry or Biology + a second science + a third subject (2027 entry data).
