1 to 1 Brighton & Sussex medicine mock interview in the MMI circuit format Brighton & Sussex uses. Recorded session, written feedback, from £69. Book within 48 hours.
What format is the Brighton & Sussex medicine interview?
Brighton and Sussex runs a values based MMI and, for 2027 entry, lets you choose between an in person interview in early December 2026 or early January 2027 and a virtual interview on Zoom in late January or early February 2027, with offers issued from January to April 2027. BSMS asks applicants to read the Medical Schools Council core values and attributes guidance before the day, because the questions are built on it. BSMS never uses the personal statement at any stage, so everything has to come out in the interview. Applicants with SJT Band 4 are excluded and the rest are ranked on total UCAT, with 30 per cent of interview places ring fenced for contextual applicants who are ranked separately. Photo ID is compulsory on the day. Our mock runs a full station circuit in whichever mode you have chosen.
How Brighton & Sussex selects for interview
Applicants with SJT Band 1-3 are ranked purely on total UCAT. UCAT is also the final discriminator after interview.
2026 entry cut-offs: 1990 home, 1980 international, both requiring SJT Band 1-3. Mean invited 2080. Historical lowest home invited 1560 (contextual 1340).
Typical academic offer: AAA incl. Biology or Chemistry + one of Biology/Chemistry/Maths/Physics (2027 entry data).
