What format is the Barts (QMUL) medicine interview?

Barts and the London does not run an MMI. Shortlisted applicants sit an online interview in January or February with a panel that is usually two senior academic or clinical staff and sometimes a lay selector. Shortlisting is decile based: you need UCAT in the fourth decile or above and SJT Bands 1 to 3, then a weighted score combining UCAT with your UCAS tariff, or with weighted degree scoring for graduates. Barts says year on year thresholds cannot be predicted. Expect a strong focus on working with a diverse East London population, and answers on cultural awareness need to be concrete, not slogans.

How Barts (QMUL) selects for interview
