The biggest mistake we see is treating it like the old statement chopped into thirds. Each answer needs its own hook, reflection and link back to medicine. On the course we plan all three answers together so they tell one coherent story.
Admissions tutors at Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL and KCL repeatedly say the same thing - they want reflection, not a CV. Our PREE method turns 'I shadowed a GP for two weeks' into a paragraph that shows insight, empathy and academic readiness in 60 characters less.
You don't need shadowing in five specialties. Admissions want one or two experiences explored in genuine depth, plus evidence of sustained caring or service. We help you pick the strongest 2-3 examples from your school, college, volunteering and part-time work - and confidently cut the rest.
Most successful applicants spend 6-10 weeks across 5-8 drafts. Starting in June or July gives you time to write, get reviewed, rest, reread and polish before the UCAS deadline. Leaving it to September almost always means a weaker statement and a rushed application.
